What is a book/movie/TV show you think is overrated? ? This photo was a riot to take. My mom was up on a chair trying to direct us: c'mon James, look deep into her eyes. Deeper! Deeper I said! And Liz and I where trying to not burst out laughing. Which, of course, was impossible and that is why this required about 100 takes to get right.? I guess being best friends makes it so this wasn't as awkward as it could have been (and yes, mentioning the word FRIENDS for y'all who still send us messages about shipping?). All jokes aside, I feel like I don't express as often as I should what this amazing human being (is that ok, Liz?) means to me. She's more like the sister I never had than a friend. And I don't know, I just can't imagine my life with her. Nor I want to. Ok, this was so sweet I think imma be sick. ? Anyway, hope you had an amazing week start. What do you study/studied? Do you or did you like it? And did you end up working in the field you wanted or studied for? Do you love your current job? ? A lot of questions, I know, but this is a subject I wanted to touch on for a while. As some of you might know, I finished law school almost two years ago. A lot of things happened since then, but one thing that didn't change is the fact that I don't want to work in that field. If you ask me right now why I decided to finish a university I knew wasn't for me even from the first month, I wouldn't know what to tell you. I guess I was at a point in my life where I strived to finish everything I started even if I gained nothing from it. Thankfully, I changed a bit since then. Don't get me wrong: I am very much thankful for having the chance to get an education. I know not everyone has that. But I also think that you can't live a life doing something you don't like every single day, no matter how well paid it is. Or that is just how I see it. ? I also know that this is the case for a lot of people I know who finish a school and never end up working in the field they studied for. Sometimes that is for the best, sometimes it is not. Life is funny and I probably bore you to death right now. I am really curious if my circle of friends is an anomaly or this is as widespread as I think. ? Hope your weekend is going well, guys. Stay funny!
